Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SlapClip ("we", "us") collects when you use slapclip.com, what we do with it and the choices you have. SlapClip turns a video clip and your photos into a new video with an AI model. Questions go to support@slapclip.com.

What We Collect

1. Your account. Your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google. If you sign up with an email and password, the password is stored only as a secure hash.
2. What you upload. The video clips (4 to 30 seconds), photos and prompts you add to the generator, and the videos made from them.
3. Purchases. What you bought, when, the amount and your credit balance. Card and PayPal details are entered on the payment provider's page; we never see or store full card numbers.
4. Usage. Pages you visit, the buttons that matter to us (for example Generate and Checkout), the page that sent you, your country (from Cloudflare) and your device type. We use our own first-party analytics with a random visitor ID, not advertising trackers.
5. Support messages. What you write to us through support tickets or email.

How We Use It

• To make your videos: your clip, photos and prompt are sent to our AI video provider to render the result, and the finished video is stored for you to download.
• To run your account: sign-in, credits, purchases, receipts and refunds.
• To keep the service safe: blocking abuse, fraud and content that breaks our Terms of Service.
• To improve the site: which pages and trends people use and where they get stuck.

We do not sell your data, we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and your videos are never shown publicly or used as examples without your permission.

Who Processes Your Data

We use a small number of providers, each only for its part of the service:

• AI video generation: our video model provider receives your clip, photos and prompt to render the video.
• Hosting, database and file storage: Cloudflare.
• Payments: Stripe and PayPal process payments under their own privacy policies.
• Sign-in: Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Email: our email provider sends receipts and account emails.

Some of these providers process data outside your country. They are bound by contracts that limit what they may do with it.

How Long We Keep It

• Uploads and videos: kept while your account is open so you can download your videos again. You can ask us to delete any of them at any time.
• Account and purchases: kept while your account is open. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after the account is closed.
• Analytics: kept in aggregate; the random visitor ID is not linked to your name.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to close your account, by emailing support@slapclip.com from the address on your account. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to some processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We use cookies and browser storage that the site needs: to keep you signed in, remember your language and count visits with our first-party analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

SlapClip is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it, and photos of children may not be uploaded.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we also tell signed-in users by email or on the site.
