Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SlapClip ("we", "us") for using slapclip.com. By creating an account or making a video, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The Service

SlapClip makes a new video from a video clip and photos you provide: an AI model recasts the clip with the people, pets or things in your photos, keeping its moves, camera and timing. Videos usually take 3 to 8 minutes. Results are generated by AI and can vary; we do not promise that every result will look exactly as you expect.

Your Account

• You must be 18 or older.
• Give a real email address and keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person per account. Do not create accounts to collect sign-up credits more than once.

What You May Upload

You may only upload clips and photos you have the right to use, and only of people who agreed to be in the video. You may not upload or create:

• Photos or videos of children.
• Celebrities, politicians or other public figures.
• Anyone without their consent, or content that harasses, bullies or humiliates a real person.
• Sexual or nude content, or violent, hateful or illegal content.
• Videos meant to deceive: fake news, scams, impersonation or anything that passes AI video off as real footage in a harmful way.
• Copyrighted clips you do not have the right to use.

Our safety checks may reject uploads or results, and we may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. When you post a video made with SlapClip, label it as AI-generated where the platform asks you to.

Credits and Payments

• Videos are paid for with credits, bought in one-time packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
• A render costs credits per second of video, depending on the resolution. The exact price shows on the Generate button before anything is charged.
• Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase and have no cash value.
• If a render fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
• Refunds of money are covered by our Refund Policy.
• Prices are shown in US dollars and may include taxes required where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal.

Who Owns the Videos

You keep the rights you have in what you upload, and, as far as the law allows, you own the videos you make with SlapClip. You give us a limited licence to store and process your uploads and videos only to provide the service to you. We do not show your videos publicly or use them to train AI models without your permission.

The site itself, our software, design and brand belong to SlapClip.

Ending Your Use

You can stop using SlapClip and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close an account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund unused purchased credits.

Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided "as is". AI results can be imperfect, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. We change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we tell signed-in users before they take effect. Using SlapClip after that means you accept the new terms.
